3.3.7 SWINGING THE TURRET
q
Before rotation, make sure that the area surrounding ma-
chine is free of any kind of obstacles.
1. Before rotation, take the rotation locking lever (1) to the UN-
LOCKING position.
2. To swing the turret, use the left work equipment control lever
(2).
q
When the turret swing function is used on a slope, let the
engine idle and operate the swing control lever very slowly.
When the bucket is full, pay the utmost attention and avoid
abrupt movements.
3. When the rotation function is not used, place the tower paral-
lel to the lower car, then take the rotation locking lever (1) to
the LOCKING position.
When the lever is placed at the locking position, always place
the tower parallel to the lower car, then lift the lever complete-
ly and lower it until the pin couples in the lower car. If the tow-
er and the lower car are not parallel, rotation will not be
locked even if the lever is at the locking position.
Do not activate rotation when the lever is at the locking posi-
tion because the locking pin can break.
