6.5.8 PROGRAMMING THE CONTROL UNIT
WARNING

Programming the control unit should be carried out by the Komatsu dealer.
(1) Leds
(2) Programming button
(3) Dip-switches
IMPORTANT
q
First carry out the programming of the roller and then the
programming of the oil flow.
PROGRAMMING THE ROLLER
1 - Power up the control unit.
2 - Set the Dip-switch No. 4 to ON.
3 - Press the button (2) for 3 seconds.
4 - When the red led comes on you enter the programming and the green led switches off and blinks every 2 sec-
onds.
5 - With the roller in the central position, press the button (2) for 5 seconds. The green led blinks twice for 2 sec-
onds.
6 - Move the roller all the way to the right and press the button (2) for 5 seconds. The green led blinks three times
for 2 seconds.
7 - Move the roller all the way to the left and press the button (2) for 5 seconds. The green led does not blink and
the red led blinks rapidly.
8 - Press the button (2) for 2 seconds. The green led comes on confirming that the programming of the roller is
finished.
PROGRAMMING THE OIL FLOW
1 - Power up the control unit.
2 - Set the Dip-switch No. 4 to OFF.
3 - Press the button (2) for 3 seconds.
4 - When the red led comes on you enter the programming and the green led switches off and blinks every 2 sec-
onds.
5 - Very slowly move the roller until the equipment starts to move, then press the button (2) for 5 seconds to con-
firm. The green led blinks twice for 2 seconds.
6 - Move the roller again until the equipment moves at the maximum desired speed and press the button (2) for 5
seconds to confirm. The green led does not blink and the red led blinks rapidly.
7 - Press the button (2) for 2 seconds. The green led comes on confirming that the programming of the roller is
finished.
