– If you come to a stop on a slope with your vehicle, dismount from the vehicle and turn
it.
– Switch off the engine and activate the parking brake.
– Dismount from the vehicle on the uphill side.
– Grasp the handlebar with both hands, release the parking brake, and carefully pull the
clutch.
– Let the vehicle roll downhill carefully until you reach a location where you can turn it.
Control its speed using the clutch.
– To turn the vehicle, steer it to the side. When doing so, you should always stand on the
uphill side and apply pressure to the footrest on the uphill side.
– When the vehicle is standing perpendicular to the slope or slightly downhill, apply the
parking brake.
– Mount the vehicle, start the engine, pull the clutch lever and engage 1st gear. Cau-
tiously release the parking brake and ride down the hill in 1st gear.

– If you lose control over the vehicle, you should get away from the vehicle as fast as pos-
sible.

with a strong current.
– Avoid riding through deep water with a strong current.

Danger of accidents Reduced braking efficiency due to wet or dirty brakes.
– Clean or dry dirty or wet brakes by riding and braking gently.
