For internal use only
6.1.5 Drying phase and adsorption
The dishes are heated up at the end of the
clear rinse cycle. Water evaporates from the
heated surface of the dishes. Warm, moist air
is now present in the interior.
With the help of the fan, the moist air is sucked
out of the interior and lead through the con-
tainer filled with zeolite granulated material.
The moisture is immediately absorbed. Energy
is released and the zeolite heats up. The dried
air is also heated up by the release of zeolite
energy.
This process is called adsorption (retaining
molecules on the surface). The hot, dry air is
lead back into the interior. The drying process
is much quicker than with standard dishwash-
ers using a condensation drying method.
A liquid rinse aid supports the drying function
of the dehumidification process. When com-
bined products (tabs) are use, the result of
drying may be considered to be insufficient.
6.1.6 Temperatures during the course of the program
Depending on the program, rinsing will be carried out in a shorter time or at a lower energy consump-
tion. In the clear rinse program the appliance only heats up to a temperature of
35 °C in the power-down mode or
45 °C in the quick-rinse mode.
6.1.7 Electrical connection
The elements of the zeolite auxiliary heater are all supplied with power by the zeolite electronic module.
The module is connected to the mains voltage by means of the power supply module.
The module is controlled by the power module with a D-Bus² line. Three fuse elements are connected
in series with the heater in the zeolite container:
The reversible Klixon on the rinsing cavity secures the rinsing cavity from being overheated at a
temperature of 85 °C.
