• A reversible Klixon with a switching temperature of 190 °C is installed on the zeolite container.
• The thermal fuse on the zeolite container protects the device from overheating at 230 °C in the
event of a Klixon defect.
If the Klixon or the thermal fuse on the zeolite container is defect, the zeolite container will need to be
replaced.

The fan motor is connected direct to the electronic module.
6.1.8 Checking the zeolite auxiliary heater
This is only possible if the zeolite additional module is freely accessible.
Diagnosis options
The material used has been designed for the service life of the appliance.
It is not possible to carry out specific measurements of the functioning of the zeolite or the humidity in
the inside of the container with customer service appliances.
General conditions such as water quality, ambient temperature, rinse aid level, loading and type of
dishes are complex, but they do play a vital role in terms of the drying phase.
The amount of resistance of the following components can be tested:
• Zeolite container heater
• Zeolite container Klixon (transmission when functioning)
• Zeolite container thermal fuse (transmission when functioning)
• Rinsing cavity Klixon (transmission when functioning)
• Leads for discontinuity
• Fan motor
