7.8 Status display lights
7.8.1 Info light (optional)
The fully-integratable models are fitted with a program status display
(info light) which is visible from the outside and provides users with
additional information.
The info light comprises an LED (A) and a fibre optic cable (B). The
fibre optic cable focuses the light which is projected as a spot of red
light (C) on the background (D) in front of the dishwasher while the
programme is in operation.
The info light is fastened on the hinge plate between the inner door
and the outer door and is regulated by the module.
7.8.2 Emotion light (optional)
Emotion light is interior lighting.
When the “Emotion Light” function is activated in
the appliance menu, two LEDs will light up when
the door is opened. The power module activates
the function. When the door is opened the door
contact switch is activated. Voltage is applied to
the Hall sensor in the flat cable trip line. When the
door is opened further, the permanent magnet on
the inner door is removed from the Hall sensor.
This causes the Hall sensor to activate the control
voltage by means of a transistor on the LEDs.
A permanent magnet is installed in the inner door. This switches the LEDs off as soon as the door is left
ajar. The LEDs thus only light up when the door contact switch releases the supply voltage and when
the door is opened wide enough to activate the reed contact.
