Rear window sunshade
The switches are on the rear doors.
1 Extend
2 Retract
You can also operate the rear window sun-
shade via COMAND (
컄 page 271) or via
the favorite button (
컄 page 263).
왘 Switch on the ignition (컄 page 370).
왘 Press upper part 1 of the rocker
switch briefly to extend the sunshade.
왘 Press lower part 2 of the rocker
switch briefly to retract the sunshade.
왘 Reverse the extending or retracting
procedure: Press lower part 2 or up-
per part 1 of the rocker switch.

When operating the rear window sunshade,
be sure that there is no danger of anyone be-
ing harmed by the extending or retracting
procedure.

Operating the rear window sunshade from
the rear is not possible if you activate the over-
ride switch (
컄 page 64).

If you operate the rear window sunshade via
COMAND or via the favorite button, this takes
precedence over the rear window sunshade but-
tons on the rear doors.

The rear window sunshade is switched off at
temperatures below -4°F (-20°C).
