The screen now
displays the last
model type you set
up.
(e.g. EASY)
Turn 43 the 3-D digi-adjustor to select the model type:
EASY is the default. Confirm the model type with a
brief press r; this takes you automatically to the
IN MEM menu. Here you can select the memory for
the new model. The memory number is displayed flash-
ing in the bottom line of the screen.
Use the 3-D digi-adjustor to select the memory in which
you wish to store the new model. Memories which al-
ready contain model data are not offered when you leaf
through; this means that you cannot accidentally over-
write an existing model.
Confirm the selected memory with a brief press r on
the 3-D digi-adjustor. This takes you to the menu where
you can enter the model name.
Note: interrupting (without a new model)
If you end up at this menu point accidentally, or if you
have selected the wrong model type, you can interrupt
the process simply by selecting “0” as the memory.
Alternatively a long press ª concludes the process and
takes you back to the INFO 1 display.
A further brief press r on the 3-D digi-adjustor now
activates input mode: the first character flashes.
The default name is <EASY>, but it can be changed to
any name you like.
Changing the model name
Use the 3-D digi-adjustor to search for the desired
character. The following characters are available:
0 to 9, :, /, <, -, >, ?, space, A to Z
Press the 3-D digi-adjustor again briefly r.
The second character now flashes, and can be se-
lected in the same way.
Continue until you have entered all six characters.
When the name is complete, close the name input
process with a brief press r of the 3-D digi-adjustor.
Note: interrupting the name input process
If the name is complete before the sixth character, you
can interrupt the process with a long press on the 3-D
digi-adjustor ª. This takes you back to the INFO 1
display.
The model is now stored in the memory, and you are
returned to the “NAME” menu. You can move to the
other menus via “EXIT”, or go directly to the INFO 1
display with a long press ª on the 3-D digi-adjustor.
13.3.2. Setting the stick mode
(which stick controls which function?)
Menu: (
SETUP) MODE
The stick mode determines which transmitter controls
operate the functions aileron, elevator, rudder, throttle
and spoiler. Eight modes are available.
In modes 1 to 4 THROTTLE is assigned to a stick, and
SPOILER is on the right-hand slider. In modes 5 to 8
the assignment for aileron / elevator / rudder is the
same, but SPOILER and THROTTLE are swapped
over, i.e. SPOILER is controlled using the stick.
Study the table to locate the stick mode you wish to
use, then set the appropriate mode.
