right-hand slider is used to control throttle, as in modes
5 to 8.
13.3.3. Transmitter controls for the EASY type
The picture below shows the functions of the individual
transmitter controls for the EASY model type.

13.3.4. Selecting idle forward / back
Menu: (SETUP, MODEL) TH R
The idle position of the transmitter control for throttle
(stick or slider) can be set to forward (towards the ae-
rial) or back (towards the pilot). When you set up a new
model, the setting is always
TH R = 0,
i.e. the idle position is “back”.
Note: throttle servo / speed controller works in the
wrong “sense”
If you have decided on the idle position, but the power
system in your model runs to full-throttle at this setting,
you must reverse the throttle servo (Î ). The idle
position must be left as it is, to ensure that THR-CUT (=
throttle cut = emergency motor OFF), throttle check (Î
13.3.5.) and the throttle / elevator mixer work correctly.
This is the procedure:

4. r

for setting
“0” or “1” flashes in the bottom line.
THROTTLE R = “0” means:
the throttle idle position is back
THROTTLE R = “1” means:
the throttle idle position is forward
You can change the setting for THROTTLE R using the
3-D digi-adjustor. Press the 3-D digi-adjustor again to
end the process; the selected setting is then stored.
13.3.5. Setting Throttle Check
Menu: (
SETUP, MODEL) TH CHK
What is Throttle Check?
Throttle Check is a safety query of the throttle control.
This function avoids the danger of power systems
bursting into life unexpectedly, endangering and even
injuring you and others. It is a simple means of improv-
ing safety when operating any powered model.
How does Throttle Check work?
If the Throttle Check function is activated, the transmit-
ter checks whether the throttle control is at the idle
setting every time the transmitter is switched on, and
also when you switch to a different model memory. If
not, the screen continues to display the message
GAS>0” until you move the throttle control to the idle
position. At the same time the throttle channel (receiver
output 4) is held at idle.
