System settings
● Adjust the volume level of the activation tones to the ambient noises. Make sure that the
activation tones are at an audible volume level.
The volume of the activation tone can be adjusted in 2 ways:
‒ With the volume control on the back panel of the electrosurgical generator
‒ Via the touchscreen
During activation, it is impossible to enter the [Settings] screens. During activation, the
volume must be adjusted by the volume control on the back panel.
The volume settings range from 1 to 10. The default setting is 7.
Setting the volume for the activation tones via the touchscreen
1. Tap [Settings] on the home screen.
► The [Setup] screen is displayed.
2. In the volume pane tap [+] to increase the volume. Tap [−] to decrease the volume.
5.4 Brightness control
Use this function to control the brightness of the touchscreen. The brightness settings range
from 1 to 10. The default setting is 5.
Setting the brightness
1. Tap [Settings] on the home screen.
► The [Setup] screen is displayed.
2. In the brightness pane tap [+] to increase the brightness. Tap [−] to decrease the
brightness.
5.5 Alarm tones
When an error message is displayed by the ESG-410 a certain alarm tone sounds,
depending on the priority of the alarm. For alarms with a low or medium priority, the alarm
tones can be switched off in 2 ways.
Switching off alarm tones on the [Settings] screen
1. Tap [Settings] on the home screen.
► The [Setup] screen is displayed.
2. For [Alarm tone] tap the on/off button to turn the alarm tones on or off.
► The selected setting is displayed [AUDIO ON] or [AUDIO OFF]
Switching off alarm tones on the error message
Every error message with a low or medium priority provides the function to switch the alarm
tones on or off.
