5.10 Startup settings
[Previous settings] and [All zero]
The ESG-410 provides 2 options on how to deal with HF output settings when the device is
switched off:
‒ [Previous settings]
The selected HF output settings are stored. When the ESG-410 is switched on again,
these settings are automatically displayed.
‒ [All zero]
The selected HF output and settings are deleted. When switching on the ESG-410
again, all HF output settings are automatically set to [Off].
The default setting is [All zero].
Selecting the settings for startup
1. Tap [Settings] on the home screen.
► The [Setup] screen is displayed.
2. Tap the options button for [Startup settings].
► The [Startup settings] screen is displayed. The selected setting is highlighted.
3. Tap the button for the preferred setting.
4. Tap [Back] to return to the [Settings] screen.
► The updated setting is displayed.
[Last settings] button
If the ESG-410 is switched off unintentionally, then the last HF output settings can be
restored by tapping this button.
If [All zero] was chosen as a startup setting, then this button is displayed on the top of the
home screen when turning on the ESG-410.
The [Last settings] button is also available on the [Startup settings] screen.
5.11 Procedures
Use this function to save the current settings as a user-dened procedure or to select a user-
dened procedure from a list.
Data that are saved within a user-dened procedure are:
‒ All selected modes
‒ All selected power settings
‒ All selected effect setting
‒ All selected level settings
‒ Instrument names
‒ The foot switch assignments
‒ The Autostart assignment
‒ The Autostart delay
‒ The setting for the baby neutral electrode
‒ The selection if an output socket is switched on or off.
User-dened procedures can be stored on a portable USB ash drive. Refer to the section
“11.2.1 Data transfer” on page 87.
5.11.1 Saving a user-dened procedure
1. Select all settings on the touchscreen that are required for the new procedure.
