System settings
● Tap the button [AUDIO ON/OFF] to switch the alarm tones on or off.
► This setting is saved for all low/medium priority alarms as long as the ESG-410 is
switched on or as long as this setting is changed on any error message.
The default setting is [ON]. With every start of the ESG-410 the function Alarm Audio is
automatically set to [ON].
Alarm tone for baby neutral electrodes
For safety reasons, the alarm tone for one low priority alarm cannot be switched off. This
is the alarm tone when the current limit of 350 mA for baby neutral electrodes is reached.
Refer to the section “6.3 Safety feature for baby neutral electrodes” on page 46.
5.6 Touch tone
Use this function to turn on or off the audible feedback when tapping the touchscreen. As a
default setting, the audible feedback is turned off.
Switching the touch tone on/off
1. Tap [Settings] on the home screen.
► The [Setup] screen is displayed.
2. Tap the on/off button to turn the audible feedback on or off.
► The selected setting is displayed [ON or OFF]
5.7 Languages
Use the language function to select the preferred language. The texts on the touchscreen
can be displayed in several different languages.
