B-1 Task Design Procedure
This section describes the task design procedure for using the DB Connection function.
Refer to the NJ/NX-series CPU Unit Software User’s Manual (Cat. No. W501) for task and system
service operation specifications of the NJ/NX-series Controllers.
B-1-1 Startup Time of DB Connection Service
The time required to get the DB Connection Service ready for operation (i.e. until the _DBC_Status.Run
system-defined variable changes to True) after turning ON the power supply to the CPU Unit
(hereinafter called “startup time”) depends on the database type to connect and the percentage of task
execution time.
The following table shows the reference values for some combinations.
Please design your system in reference to these values.
