6.6.4. GPRS Settings
Set the GPRS settings: the Monitoring station's IP no., port, and GPRS test interval.
To access the GSM-200 via the web, its URL address should be set in the net4pro.
To see the GSM-200 version (or the SMS-100, if installed), press [ENTR] for 2
seconds in the idle screen.
The GSM-200 and the SMS-100 modules cannot be used together.
6.7. SMS Settings
Set a name for the alarm system, to be displayed in every SMS message. The default name is
“Alarm System”.
Example for SMS message
The content of the SMS
messages is taken from the
system’s log. The time and date
indicate when the event was
registered in the log, and not
when the message was sent.
See more in section 6.15, on page 58.
6.8. The Serial output
Configure the PCB's SERIAL output, when it is used for a direct connection to a Monitoring Station/
Property management software. The connection can be locally, using RS-232 cable, or by network,
via the net4pro module.
The output settings include the protocol in use - Home Automation or PIMA proprietary - and the
physical connection type. See the following table for details.
Captain 8 does not support in Home Automation systems.
