BRAKE PEDAL INSTALLATION
Reverse the “Removal” steps to install brake pedal lever.
Excessive free-play may be caused by loose brake pedal
bushings, worn master cylinder or low brake fluid level in
the master cylinder. To measure the brake pedal free-
play, measure the distance from the back of the brake
pedal to the floor behind the brake pedal. Then, push on
the brake pedal until the free-play is gone and measure
the distance from the back of the pedal to the floor
behind the pedal. The difference in the two numbers will
give you the free-play.
