S1, S2 Switch
Mode
Specify the behavior of the buttons.
MOMENTARY
The assigned eect is applied only
while you hold down the button.
LATCH
The eect is switched each time you
press the button.
Slider Settings

Slider Mode
DIRECT,
CATCH
Species whether control data of
the corresponding position is always
output when you move a slider
(DIRECT) or control data is output
only after the slider position passes
through the current value of the
parameter (CATCH).

Assigns the function controlled by the sliders.

USB Audio Settings

All audio signals output from the
FANTOM are mixed to channels 1–2.
This is convenient for stereo recording.
Other channels are output according
to their settings.
PARALLEL
The audio signals output from the
FANTOM are output individually from
all channels. This is convenient for
simultaneous multi-channel recording.

Species whether audio from a
computer or other device connected
to the USB COMPUTER port is input to
the FANTOM (ON) or is not input (OFF).

0–127 Adjusts the USB audio input level.

Species whether audio from the
FANTOM is output to a computer or
other device connected to the USB
COMPUTER port (ON) or is not output
(OFF).

MIDI Settings
(MIDI)

When transmitting and receiving
system exclusive messages, the device
ID numbers of both devices must
match.

Species the MIDI channel for
controlling the scene.

Species whether MIDI messages
received via the USB COMPUTER
port/MIDI IN connector will be
re-transmitted from the MIDI OUT
connector/USB COMPUTER port (ON)
or not be re-transmitted (OFF).

Turn this “ON” if you are using an
external MIDI keyboard instead of the
FANTOM’s keyboard. In this case, the
MIDI transmit channel of the external
MIDI keyboard does not matter.

arpeggio performance.
