8.4.2 Configuring the heater
Define the switch-on temperature of the front screen heater. Heating is activated when
the ambient temperature is below the defined switch-on temperature. The hysteresis is
fixed at 2 Kelvin.
The fogging and/or frosting of the front screen depends on the temperature, pressure
and air humidity. The dew point and/or the frost point can be calculated from these val‐
ues. To prevent the fogging and/or frosting of the front screen, the front screen heater
must be activated when the dew point or frost point is reached.
