2-6-3. EN-164/KY-706 Board
Preparation
1. Remove the bottom panel assembly. (Refer to “2-5. Bottom Panel Assembly”)
2. Remove the inside panel assembly. (Refer to “2-6-1. Inside Panel Assembly”)
Procedure
1. Remove the top frame (encoder).
2. Disconnect the harness from the connector (CN103) on the KY-706 board.
3. Remove the two screws to detach the encoder bracket.
4. Remove the hexagon nut and the washer to detach the EN-164 board.
5. Disconnect the harness from the connector (CN100) on the EN-164 board.

6. Disconnect the harness from the connector (CN100) on the SW-1616 board.
7. Remove the screw to detach the KY-706 board, switch (shutter), holder (shutter), button (main) assembly, and light
guide (encoder).
8. Reel the cushion (HN412) from the KY-706 board.
9. Disconnect the flexible flat cable from the connector (CN100) on the KY-706 board.
10. Disconnect the harness from the connector (CN102) on the KY-706 board.

Note
When installing the KY-706 board, fit the slide switch with the groove of the switch (shutter).
11. Install the removed parts by reversing the steps of removal.
