VISUAL INSPECTION
• Prior to diagnosis using the mode selection switch or SDS, perform the following visual inspections. The
reason for visual inspection is that mechanical failures (such as oil leakage) cannot be displayed on the
screen with the use of mode selection switch or SDS.
* Engine oil level and leakage (2-10)
* Fuel level and leakage
* Clogged air cleaner element (2-4)
* Battery condition (9-39)
* Throttle cable play (2-8)
* Broken fuse
* FI indicator light operation (4-15, 9-27)
* Speedometer operation
* Exhaust gas leakage and noise (6-4)
* Each coupler disconnection
