CYLINDER BORE
Inspect the cylinder wall for any scratches, nicks or other dam-
age.
Measure the cylinder bore diameter at six places.
Cylinder bore
Standard: 72.000 – 72.015 mm (2.8346 – 2.8352 in)
09900-20530: Cylinder gauge set
CAM CHAIN TENSION ADJUSTER
Make sure the push rod movement. If the push rod is stuck or
spring mechanism failed, replace the cam chain tension adjuster
with a new one.
CAM CHAIN GUIDE
Inspect the cam chain guide for damage. If any damage is
found, replace the cam chain guide with a new one.
PISTON
DIAMETER
Measure the piston diameter using the micrometer at 10 mm
(0.4 in) A from the skirt end.
If the piston diameter is less than the service limit, replace the
piston.

Service Limit: 71.880 mm (2.8299 in)
09900-20203: Micrometer (50 – 75 mm)
