FUEL SYSTEM
FUEL TANK REMOVAL
• Remove the front seat. (8-3)
• Remove the fuel tank mounting bolt.
• Lift up the fuel tank.
• Disconnect the fuel pump lead wire coupler 1.
• Place a clean rag under the fuel feed hose 2 and disconnect
the fuel feed hose 2 from the fuel pump.
• Remove the fuel tank assembly.
FUEL TANK INSTALLATION
Install the fuel tank in the reverse order of removal. Pay attention
to the following point:
• When installing the fuel tank, do not pinch the fuel pump lead
wire coupler between the fuel pump and frame.
Gasoline is highly flammable and explosive.
Keep heat, spark and flame away.
