SWITCH
IGNITION SWITCH REMOVAL
• Remove the headlight. (9-30)
• Disconnect the ignition switch lead wire couplers 1.
• Remove the ignition switch mounting bolts using the special
tools.
09930-11920: Torx bit (JT40H)
09930-11940: Torx bit holder
• Remove the ignition switch 2.
IGNITION SWITCH INSTALLATION
Install the ignition switch in the reverse order of removal. Pay
attention to the following points:
• Apply thread lock to the ignition switch mounting bolts.
99000-32110: THREAD LOCK SUPER “1322”
or equivalent
• Tighten the ignition switch mounting bolts using the special
tools.
09930-11920: Torx bit (JT40H)
09930-11940: Torx bit holder
When reusing the ignition switch mounting bolts,
clean threaded part and apply the thread lock to them.
