• Align the punch mark A on inner race with the punch mark B
on balancer driven gear.
GENERATOR
REMOVAL
• Remove the stator coil 1 and CKP sensor 2.
INSTALLATION
Install the stator coil and CKP sensor in the reverse order of
removal. Pay attention to the following point:
• Route the lead wire properly. (10-14)
GEARSHIFT SHAFT
DISASSEMBLY
• Remove the return spring 2 and spacer 3 from the gearshift
shaft 1.
INSPECTION
Inspect the gearshift shaft for wear or bend.
Inspect the return springs for damage or fatigue.
Replace the gearshift shaft or spring if there is anything unusual.
REASSEMBLY
• Install the spacer 3 and return spring 2.
NOTE:
When installing the gearshift shaft return spring, position the
stopper A of gearshift arm between the shaft return spring ends
B.
