8-18 CHASSIS
• Remove the brake light switch 5 and brake lever 6.
• Pull out the dust boot 7.
• Remove the snap ring 8.
• Remove the piston/cup set 9.
MASTER CYLINDER INSPECTION
MASTER CYLINDER
Inspect the master cylinder bore for any scratches or damage. If
any damage is found, replace the master cylinder with a new
one.
PISTON/CUP SET
Inspect the piston surface for any scratches or other damage.
Inspect the primary cup, secondary cup and dust boot for wear
or damage. If any damage is found, replace them with new
ones.
