4.4 P2P FUNCTION
1. Connect the respective required cameras to the input channel BNCs.
2. Plug the mouse into the USB port.
3. Connect the “VGA” and/or “HDMI” video output to the respective VGA/HDMI monitor to view the previously
connected cameras.
4. Plug the network cable into the LAN port.
5. Power the DVR using the transformer contained in the box.
6. The DVR Urmet network is configured in DHCP mode (automatic IP address allocation) by default. This means
that the network to which the DVR is connected must support the DHCP service. In this manner, simply view the
parameters that the device acquires automatically from the network in the “Network” menu of the DVR. Wait for
approximately ten seconds for the parameters to be allocated and appear automatically in the menu: IP address,
subnet mask, gateway and DNS (see below).
7. In the DVR menu, select “System” -> “Users” to enable and customise the password for the “admin” and/or
“user” level.
8. Download and install the iUVS app from the Store.
9. Launch the “iUVS” app and select “Devices” and then “Add”.
