5.6 Checking the coolant level/adding coolant
Burn hazard due to hot fluid.
Can cause serious injury or death.
• Wait at least 15 minutes after stopping the engine!
• Wear protective gloves and clothing
• Turn filler cap B
to the first notch and release the pressure
• Ensure that the coolant temperature is sufficiently low so you can touch the
radiator plug with your hands
Injury hazard when handling flammable and toxic fluids!
Can cause serious injury or death.
• Keep away from flames
• Avoid eye contact with antifreeze
• If antifreeze comes into contact with the eyes
➥ Immediately rinse with clean water and seek medical assistance
