Remove the level/filler plug, Figure
62,
from
the
axle and the drain plugs, Figure 63,
from
the
axle
and
drop
box. Allow the oil
to
drain. Replace
the
drain plugs after the oil has drained.
Refill
the axle through the level/filler plug open-
ing until the oil reaches the bottom of the opening.
NOTE:
The drop box is lubricated
hy
oil over-
flowing from the axle.
See Section C
for
oil capacity
and
grade.

Position the left-hand front wheel with
the
oil
level/filler plug, Figure

at
the
lowest point.
Re-
move the plug
and
allow
the
oil
to
drain.

Reposition the wheel with the level line horizon-
tal,
as
shown in Figure
64.
Top up through the
opening with clean
oil until the
oil
reaches the
combined level/filler plug opening. Replace the
plug.
Repeat on the right-hand wheel.
