Remove
the
combined
leveVfiller
plug, Figure 65
and
drain·thc oil
by
removing
lhe
bell
pulley to
rear axle securing bolts and rotating
the
pulley
so
that
the
opening
is
at
the bottom. Refit
the
belt pul-
ley,
as
shown
and
refill
with
clean
oil
through
the
opening.
Replace
the
plug.
See Section C
for
oil capacity
and
grade.

Disconnect
the
oil cooler pipes
at
the
unions,
Fig-
ure
66.
Remove
the
bolt
retaining
the
cooler
and
lake
off
the cooler complete with pipework.
Re-
move
lhc
central bolt
and
case
the
reservoir casing
rearwards.
Catch the oil in a suitable container.
Discard
the
filter,
Figure
67
and
the
'O'
ring.
Clean
the
pump
and
reservoir with a lint-free
cloth.
Re-install
the
reservoir
and
a
new
filter,
ensuring that the breather
is
in
line with
the
pro-
jecting
lug
on
the
pump
body, as shown
in
Figure
66.
Refit the oil cooler
and
pipework and refill
the
reservoir
with
clean
oil
up
to
the
bouom
of
the
filler neck.
