filled. In addition, cenain

installed

ever, the fuses for these features arc still fitted and

be used as spares.

Alternator
To
avoid damage to the alternator charging sys-
tem,
scivicc precautions should
be
obseivcd, as
follows:
• Never make
or
break any
of
the charging cir-
cuit connections, including the battery, when
the engine is running.
• Never short any
of
the charging components
Lo
ground.
• Do
not
use a slave baucry
of
higher than
12
volls nominal voltage.
• Always observe correct
rx>larity
when install-
ing a battery
or
using a slave battery to
jump
stan the engine. Follow the instructions on
page 7
of
Section A when
jump
starting
the
tractor.
• Always disconnect the ballery ground cable
ocf
orc carrying out
arc
welding
on
the tractor
or
on
any implement attached
to
the tractor.

Connect positive to positive and negative to
negative.
