STOPPING THE ENGINE
1. Turn the throttle grip to SLOW
position and move the shift lever to
NEUTRAL.
After sailing with the throttle fully
open, cool down the engine by
running it at the idle speed for a few
minutes.
2. Turn the engine switch key to the
OFF position to stop the engine.
In the event that the engine does not
stop when the engine switch is turned
to OFF, push the emergency stop
switch to stop the engine.
3. Remove the engine switch key and
store it.
If you are using a portable fuel
tank, disconnect the fuel line if you
will be storing or transporting the
outboard motor.
