6. Click Download to save to a local disk.
HP StorageWorks mpx Manager for Data Migration Services for Windows
After downloading the application, see the previous step, Download the application, and install HP
StorageWorks mpx Manager for Windows.
1. Close all programs currently running
2. Select the hpmpx_n.n.nn_windows_install.exe install program in the folder from which
the application was downloaded.
3. Follow the installation instructions.
4. After installation, an mpx Manager icon appears on the Windows desktop.
HP StorageWorks mpx Manager for Data Migration Services for Linux
After downloading the application, see the previous step, Download the application, and install HP
StorageWorks mpx Manager for Linux.
1. Close all programs currently running.
2. Unpack the xxxx_.tar.g file to a temporary directory. For example:
tar -zxvf hpmpx_n.n.nn_linux_install.tar.gz
3. Issue the following command to start the installation:
./hpmpxn.n.nnbnn_linux_install.bin.
NOTE:
A chmod may be necessary prior to execution.
4. Follow the installation instructions on the screen and note the installation location. The default
directory is /opt/Hewlett-Packard/mpxManager.
HP StorageWorks mpx Manager for Data Migration Services for Mac OS X
After downloading the application, see the previous step, Download the application, and install HP
StorageWorks mpx Manager for Ma OS X.
1. Close all programs currently running.
2. Open the hpmpx_n.n.nn__macos_install.zip file in the folder from which the application
was downloaded. An Install.app file will unzip into the download folder.
3. Open install.app and follow the installation instructions.
