1. Remove the cover of the exit button.
2. Remove the base and mark mounting holes using the base and a marker.
3. Drill holes and install the exit button base.
4. Connect pins 6 and 7 of a network cable to the NO and COM ports on the exit button.
5. Route the cable through the cable hole.
6. Reinstall the exit button and the cover.
