WARNING
To avoid personal injury or death:
• Be sure to interlock the right and left pedals.
Applying only 1 rear-wheel brake at high speeds
could cause the tractor to swerve or roll-over.
• Be sure that the brake pedals are equally
adjusted when using locked together. Incorrect
or unequal adjustment of brake pedals can
cause the tractor to swerve or roll-over.
• Do not brake suddenly. An accident may occur
as a result of a heavy towed load shifting
forward or loss of control.
• To avoid skidding and loss of steering control
when driving on icy, wet, or loose surfaces,
make sure that the tractor is correctly ballasted,
operated at reduced speed, and operated with
the front-wheel drive engaged if equipped.
• The braking characteristics are different
between 2-wheel drive and 4-wheel drive. Be
aware of the difference and use carefully.
• Before operating the tractor on the road or before
applying the parking brake, be sure to interlock the
right and left pedals as the following figure.
• Use individual brakes to assist in turning sharply at
slow speeds, but only if you operate on field.
Disengage the brake-pedal lock and depress only 1
brake pedal.
• Be sure that the brake pedals have equal
adjustment when being locked together.
