3.13 F76 -- Fault during Pressing in Brew Unit
Cause:
The brew unit guide is inserted incorrectly.
Remedy:
Re-insert the guide correctly (Figure 070-2, Item 1).
Cause:
Grind amount too high.
Remedy:
Reduce the grind amount; see Table 070-3 in Section 070-4.1.
Cause:
Grind level too coarse.
Remedy:
Adjust the grind level to a finer setting.
3.14 F77 -- Ceramic Valve Initialization Fault
Cause:
Faulty initializing of ceramic valve.
Remedy:
1. Test the ceramic valve in the service mode; see Table 070-5 in Section 070-4.3.
2. Replace the ceramic valve, if necessary; refer to Section 051-4.8.
Cause:
Ceramic valve reference switch (S51/1) defective.
Remedy:
Replace the ceramic valve. See Section 051-4.8.
3.15 F80 -- Coffee/Hot Water Heater (2R1) Not Heating
Cause:
Coffee/hot water heater (2R1) not heating.
Remedy:
1. Test the coffee/hot water heater in service mode.
2. Replace the heater, if necessary; see Section 050-4.1.
Cause:
The fuse has blown.
Remedy:
Replace the fuse.
3.16 F81 -- Steam Heater (1R1) Not Heating
Cause:
Steam heater (1R1) not heating.
Remedy:
1. Test the steam heater in service mode.
2. Replace the heater, if necessary; see Section 050-4.3.
Cause:
The fuse has blown.
