To manually start a zero calibration:
1. Press the Main Menu button on the front panel, and then select [Others >>] → [Maintenance >>] →
[Installation Mode >>] → enter the required password.
2. Select [Maintain CO2] → [Zero].
Disconnecting the patient airway is not required when performing a zero calibration.
• The CO
2
module temporally stops measuring during zeroing.

Alarm Settings
1. Select the CO
2
parameter area to enter the [CO2 Setup] menu.
2. Select [Para. Alarm >>]
3. Set the following alarm properties:
â—† Switch on or switch off the alarms or alarm recording.
â—† Adjust the alarm limits or alarm priority.

enter the required password.
2. Select [CO2 Setup].
3. Set [Press. Unit].

Wave Settings
1. Select the CO
2
parameter area to enter the [CO2 Setup] menu.
2. Set the wave sweep and scale.
â—† Select [Sweep] and then choose an appropriate setting. The faster the wave sweeps, the wider the
wave is.
â—† Select [Scale] and adjust the upper scale to change the amplitude of CO
2
waveform.
3. Select [Others >>] and set the wave type:
â—† [Draw]: The CO
2
wave is displayed as a curved line.
â—† [Fill]: The CO
2
wave is displayed as a filled area.

Operating Mode
To change CO
2
operating mode:
1. Select the CO
2
parameter area to enter the [CO2 Setup] menu
2. Set [Operating Mode].
â—† [Measure]: only in the Measure mode can you start the CO
2
module.
â—† [Standby]: in the standby mode, the gas intake pump, infrared light source, etc. are automatically
switched off to reduce power consumption and extend the lifetime of the CO
2
module.
