"×14" paper.
❒ When using the PostScript 3 printer driver, right or left Z-folding cannot be
performed if the size of the front page is A3, B4, 11"×17", or Legal.
❒ Z-folded paper can be stapled.
❒ When stapling Z-folded paper, fewer sheets than normal can be stapled together.
This is because a single Z-folded sheet is equivalent to 10 non-Z-folded sheets.
❒ Tray 1 of the optional Booklet Finisher cannot be selected to receive the deliv-
ered paper.
❒ The Z-fold function and punch function cannot be used together. If the Z-fold
function is used, punch function settings are canceled.
❒ You cannot Z-fold in the following cases:
• When the Z-fold function is not supported for the selected paper type
The Z-fold function is not supported for OHP transparencies, labels, thick
paper, translucent paper, and tab stock paper.
• When form feeding is used
• When the paper is fed from the optional interposer tray
• The rotating collate and auto tray switching cannot be used when Z-folding.
The output has the following appearance:

When printing in landscape orientation with the PostScript 3 printer driver, you can-
not Z-fold in the specified positions. To Z-fold, print in portrait orientation and select
