4.8.15 Curling
To eliminate curling without using the decurler unit, lower the heat roller
temperature.
Lowering the temperature may result in:
Unsatisfactory fusing
Reduced glossiness
Smeared for halftone images on uncoated paper

In [Advanced Settings] for the custom paper in use, select [44: Fusing Heat
Roller Temperature Adj] and reduce the value by 5 °C.
2.
Print a full-page solid-fill image. Is the problem resolved?
Yes
Finished!
No
Further reduce the value by 5 °C. until the problem is resolved.
If the problem persists, contact your service representative.
Note:
To use the decurler unit, specify [0116: Adjust Paper Curl] in the [Adjustment
Settings for Skilled Operators] menu.
