memory function. All others may only be configured as pure communication modules (2 PROFIBUS

The two interfaces X1 and X2 are to be considered as one unit when assigning the DP
address (addresses in the shared address space may be
assigned only once, i.e. if the
entire address space is is used for one interface, the second interface can no longer be
used).
