INSTALLATION
• Tighten the ECT sensor to the specified torque.
% ECT sensor: 18 N·m (1.8 kgf-m)

• After the thermostat case has been installed, fill engine cool-
ant and perform air bleeding. ($2-13)
THERMOSTAT
REMOVAL
• Remove the frame covers. ($8-10)
• Drain small amount of engine coolant.
• Remove the thermostat case


• Remove the thermostat

2.
INSPECTION
• Check for crack or break on the thermostat.
* Replace the removed sealing washer

1 with a new
one.
* Take special care when handling the ECT sensor. It
may cause damage if it gets a sharp impact.
