• When installing the master cylinder onto the handlebars, align
the master cylinder holder’s mating surface


B on the handlebars and tighten the upper holder bolt
first.


$ Master cylinder holder bolt:
Upper: 12 N·m (1.2 kgf-m)
Lower: 10 N·m (1.0 kgf-m)
• After contacting the brake hose union to the stopper, tighten
the union bolt

1 to the specified torque.
$ Brake hose union bolt: 23 N·m (2.3 kgf-m)

* The seal washers should be replaced with the new
ones to prevent fluid leakage.
* Bleed air from the brake system after reassembling
the master cylinder. ("2-17)
