CLUTCH
CLUTCH DRIVE PLATES
Measure
th e thickness of the clutch drive plates using vernier
calipers.
If a clutch drive plate is not within the service limit, re-
place th e clutch plates as a set.

Limit: 2.62 mm (0.103 in)

Service Limit: 13.2 mm (0.520 in)

Measure each
clutch driven plate for distortion using the thick-
ness gauge. If a clutch driven platei:; not within the ser vil.,.;t;:: lirllil ,
replace the clutch plates as a set.

Service Limit : 0.10 mm (0.004 in)
CLUTCH
SPRING FREE LENGTH
Measure the free
length of each clutch spring using vernier cali-
pers. If any spring is not within the service limit, replace all of the
springs with new ones.
