REMOVAL
• Remove the cotter pin. (For Canada and USA)
• Loosen the axle nut.
• Raise the rear wheel off the ground and support the motor-
cycle with a jack or wooden block.
• Remove the axle nut and draw out the rear axle.
• Remove the rear wheel by disengaging the drive chain.

Do not operate the brake pedal while removing the rear
wheel.
• Remove the collar 1.
• Draw out the rear sprocket mounting drum 2 from the wheel
hub.
• Remove the rear sprocket mounting drum retainer 3.
• Separate the rear sprocket from its mounting drum by remov-
ing nuts.
• Remove the dust seal by using special tool.

The removed dust seal must be replaced with a new
one.
