Rear Axle housing Disassembly and Assembly

Disassembly
1) Remove the dust seal using the special tool.
Special tool
(A): 09913–50121 (Oil seal remover)
2) Remove the snap ring (1).
Special tool
: 09900–06108 (Snap ring pliers)
1) Remove the hub bearings using the special tool.
Special tool
(B): 09921–20240 (Bearing remover set)
Assembly
Assemble the rear axle housing in reverse order of
disassembly. Pay attention to the following points:
• Apply grease to the hub bearings and dust seal lip
before installing them.
: Grease 99000–25010 (SUZUKI SUPER
GREASE A or equivalent)
• Install the hub bearings with the special tool.
Special tool
(A): 09913–70210 (Bearing installer set)
NOTE
When installing the hub bearings to the rear
axle housing, the sealed cover of inner
bering (1) must face inside, and the sealed
cover of outer bearing (2) must face outside.
• Install the snap ring (3).
