MP-3000 Controller

Diagnosis and Repair
If the unit appears to be operating incorrectly,
view any alarm codes that may be stored in the
controller display memory. Diagnose and correct
the problem associated with each alarm code (see
“Alarm Codes, Alarm Types and Corrective
Actions” in this chapter).
NOTE: Defrost can be delayed for 24 hours
during unit diagnosis or testing: Press 7 key and
F1 key at the same time from any controller
screen display. Press F3 key to scroll cursor
down to “DELAY DEF” menu line. Then press
F4 key, F2 key, A key, F4 key and E
XIT key.
Cursor moves to end of line and flashes.
Pressure F3 key to toggle “OFF” to “ON”. Then
press and hold F4 key until cursor stops
flashing.
If you have viewed and corrected these problems
and the unit still appears to be operating
incorrectly, eliminate any possibility that the
problem is caused by failure of components other
than the controller.
External Cause Checks
• Poor contact between male and female
connector plugs (loose connection).
• Defective wire harness (broken wires, loose
connections).
• External electrical causes such as faulty (open
or stuck) contactors.
• Malfunction of refrigeration system
components.
