be operated when the machine

in motion except to change gear and when bringing
the machine to

halt.

Front Brake Lever. On tha right portion of the handlebar. Always apply gentle

pressure to the lever and use in conjunction with the rear brake.

Throttle Control. This
is
a
twistgrip operated by the right hand. Twist the grip
I
towards you
to
open and away from you to close.

Headlamp Dipper Switch.
Fitted to the right portion of the handiebar. Depress
i
or raise the switch lever to operate.

Magneto Control Lever (TR5, TI00
&
TIIO).
On the left hand portion of the
handlebar. Close the lever (anti-clockwise) to advance the magneto spark and open
(clockwise) to retard.

Carburetter
Air
Control Lever (TR5). On the right hand portion of the
handlebar.
Pull (clockwise) to open air valve.

Horn Button.
Fitted to the left portion of the handlebar.
Push to operate.
Speedometer. Registers speed, trip and total mileage. Where a speedometer
and revolution counter combined
is
fitted, the central figures indicate in hundreds
the engine revolutions in Znd, 3rd and top gears, Illumination of the speedometer
for night riding is controlled by the main lighting switch.

Ignition Cut-Out Button (TRS). Fitted to the left portion of the handlebar.

Speedometer (TRS). This
is
mounted on the fork top lug and

Depress to stop engine running.
The Trophy (TRS) model
is
fitted with
a
detachable headlamp in lieu of the nacelle
type to enable quick removal for sporting events.
