Ammeter. This indicates the charging rate of either the dynamo or the alternator
when the engine
is
running, and the amount of discharge when the lights are "ON"
and engine stopped.
Ignition Cut-Out Button (TI00
&
T110).
This button
is
centrally disposed in
the nacelle and when depressed the ignition to the sparking plugs
is
"CUT-OUT".
This
is
done by earthing the magneto primary circuit.
Steering Damper.
Turn the damper knob clockwise to increase damping.
The
TR5 damper knob is in the same
relative position, the operating rod passing through
the head lug in all cases.
OIL
PRESSURE INDICATOR
The Indicator button operates through the oil pressure release valve, which is
situated in the timing cover. When the engine
is
running the indicator button
MUST protrude
to
ensure that oil
is
being fed to the crankshaft.
CARBURETTER AIR CONTROL (AMAL)

TI00
&
T110)
The air control lever
is
located on the frame back stay (L.H.) immediately behind the
saddle.
Turn the lever away from the stop to open the
air
valve.
CARBURETTER MIXTURE CONTROL (S.U.)

The mixture control lever
is
fitted to the base of the carburetter and connects to the
jet. To enrich the fuel mixture raise the lever, and for normal running depress the
lever
to
its lowest point (See page 155 for further information).
FOOT CONTROLS
Footbrake. A flat pedal in front of the left footrest. Depress to operate. The
first application should be applied gently and then pressure increased as the road
speed decreases.
Gearchange.
A small foot
lever in front of the right hand footrest.
The lever
is
moved "DOWN" to select
a
low ge;lr and "UP" to select a higher gear.
The gear
selected is indicated by
a
Rnger and indicator plate on the gearbox front.
The
neutral position
is
between 1st and 2nd gear and the marking "Nu on the indicator
plate denotes the selection position.
