The following paragraphs have been drawn up to cnablc thc rider to diagnosc trouble which may arise during normal service.
For each failure,
the faults and antidotes arc arranged in order or probability. In
cach casc the rider should always look for the obvious, such as no petrol, oil.
controls incorrectly set, cut-out wire shorting. and, before searching lor an "A.C." ignition lault, always check over all electrical connections and
clean and tighten if ncccssary; then follow with the proccss ol climination.

Dirt under Float Necdlc Seating (Scc Page 150).
Removc, clcan oll carbon and wash in petrol. Allow to dry.

Clcan with Carborundum Stone, wash with Petrol and re-gap.
Re-gap to 0.012"-0.015" (Magneto) 0.014"-0.016" (Coil)

Remove Arm and clean Pivot with fine cmery, grease lightly and replace Arm. Check gap.
Remove Pick-ups and thoroughly clean; replace
