Overhaul
Periodically check the pin, fulcrum, engine and
bearings clearance. To carry out these operations,
proceed as follows:
•
Park the vehicle on its centre stand.
•
Hold the wheel firmly and try to move it
perpendicularly into the stroke direc-
tion.
•
If there is any clearance, check all the
retainers that connect the support.
Shock absorbers
Removal
CAUTION
HOLD THE REAR PART OF THE FRAME.
CAUTION
PLACE A SUPPORT OF SUITABLE THICKNESS UNDER THE REAR WHEEL TO PREVENT THE
ENGINE FROM FALLING.
•
Rest the vehicle on its centre stand.
•
Remove the tail section and unscrew
nut «1» fixing the shock absorber to the
chassis.
