12.1 Convergence controls
Extended control knobs
As the DMD of the red channel is not accessible in the projector, it remains fix ed. Therefor the image of this DM D w ill be taken as
reference. Blue and green may be aligned onto red wh en a small c onvergence drift is recognized. The blue and green chan nels
have pivot plates equipped with three control knobs for convergence adjustment, two of which are extended (reference 2, 3, 5 and
6 of image 12-1) . The adjustment knobs are numbered from 1 to 6 a nd ha ve the same color as the channel w hich they affect.
To access the control knobs the top cover and left side cover of the projector and the top cover plate and s ide cover plate of the
Light Processor compartment have to be remo ved. For easy access to control knobs No1 and No4, we advise locating the Light
Processor top fan unit in it’s upper position, hereby s till providing the necessary c ooling to the unit.
