3.1 Hardware
Some equipment items and device functions are available as an option. Not all
equipment is available worldwide for all main devices.

2 Plug-in connectors for vaporiz-
ers
Enable the connection of 1 or 2 vaporizers.
3 Backup manual switch (behind
the flap)
Used to switch to backup manual mode in
the event of malfunctions of the device.
4 Gas mixing unit Produces a gas mixture from the selected
gases (e.g., O
2 and Air).
5 Work surface Used for storage.
6 Pull-out writing tray Provides additional work surface.
7 Viewing window for piston ven-
tilator
Allows visual checking of the movement of
the piston ventilator.
